FAIRMOUNT CUTLERY CO. Vintage \"Scout\" Knife:The word \"Scout\" was used as a name for this product. It was not endorsed by the Boy Scouts of America. It has three blades rather than four and it carries a very old can-opener pattern that was not very efficient. Nonetheless, this is a quality knife with a steel frame, deep-molded handle slabs, decorated-edged liners, and cuffed bolsters. The main blade has been clumsily sharpened and reshaped but all blades are free of pits. Handles are chip and crack free. Intact springs provide good walk and talk for all three blades. Brand was manufactured and marketed by Camillus Cutlery. This knife is robust enough for every-day-carry and clean enough for a vintage display.Mailing only to USA-48.
