Extremely Rare Pentaramicrinus crinoid from Indiana. Fossil Trilobite Blastoid:

Offered here is an ultra rare, beautifully partial prepared Pentaramicrinus bimagnaramus crinoid from the Big Clifty Formation from Crawford County, Indiana, Mississippian in age. The Pentaramicrinus measures 1 1/4” long and has outstanding detail. The stem measures 1/8” long. The matrix measures 2 1/2” x 2 1/4”. As you can see from the pictures, the crinoid has great detail and the light calcite contrasts perfectly against the gray shale matrix. More prep could be done of the crinoid to showcase the pinnules. This beautiful was found about 30 years ago when the highway department was building I-64 between Cincinnati and Evansville.
