Up for sale is an extra clean Goodell-Pratt No. 4 1/2 small hand driller. Only 10 1/2" long with a 5/32" capacity chuck, dating this one to before 1930. The red paint on the main gear looks great, as does the nickel plating on the crank and collar. GP trademarks on the chuck, crank, and lengthwise along the cocobolo handle. The black japanning of the frame is near flawless. The bit storage cap on the end of the handle was cracked, so the prior owner saw fit to glue it in place - the only apology on this lovely drill.
