Very rare & unusual— mini-photo stamps from the 1937 Paris exposition with original “carnet souvenir”, 20 photo stamps per each book. Each individual sheet of 10 photos has a slick finish, and all four are in excellent condition despite being so old. One pair of sheets has tiny shots of Paris landmarks, and another pair looks like small pictures of foreign pavilions from the exposition — nice architecture, by the way…. Each shot is an individual stamp, but without the price tag and any printing, except at the bottom edge for identification.
We are also including 2 books of extremely vintage French post office “par avion” stickers, probably as old as the photo stamps. Dare we say that this is the only example of 1937 expo “mini souvenir stamps “ out on right now?
