An Extraordinary 18-Piece Lauffer Bedford Dessert Set I have never seen this size of knives before! Join my thousands of delighted Lauffer customers. This listing is for ONE 18-PIECE DESSERT SET, including 6 settings as follows: 6 dessert forks, 6 teaspoons, and 6 extremely rare small dessert knives. I have handled thousands of pieces of Bedford flatware, including dozens of sets. This is the only time I have ever encountered these rare small dessert knives. I have a few larger dessert/appetizer knives, which are themselves quite rare and smaller than a standard dinner knife. The outstanding knives in this set are another step smaller. This set is being sold as found. The original silverplate finish has some spots of tarnish forming due to age. They could easily be polished to a bright silver finish if preferred. Upon request, I would be glad to polish them carefully for you.

This classic mid-century modern design was created by the famous designer Don Wallance in 1963. Made in Holland. This is the silverplated variation, which is technically called the Ensign pattern. This was only available for a very short time. Each piece is hand-finished and shows very minor variations. These pieces will look great on your table or in your collection.
