Back is upside down, front has handwritten name of logging community on it. Back has note from Timber in 1914, unposted so it must have been hand delivered or placed inside another package. Front has a small hole - possibly where a tack was placed, and some surface wear, corner wear, light creases in upper and lower right corners, marks and light discoloration on back of card. CYKO, UNP.
Enright, Oregon, is a former logging community located in the Tillamook State Forest in the northwestern part of the state. It was situated along the route of the former Pacific Railway and Navigation Company (PR&N) railroad, later part of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Enright was primarily a railroad stop and logging camp, serving the timber industry that was prominent in the region during the early to mid-20th century. The community of Enright was located near the Salmonberry River, in the rugged Coast Range mountains. Today, it is largely abandoned and considered a ghost town, with the remains of the old railroad and logging operations still visible in the area. The site is accessible via hiking trails and is of interest to those exploring the history of Oregon\'s logging and railroading past. Timber was relatively near Enright on the PR&N Railroad line.
