English Cast Patented Composition Figural Group of Two Owls on a Branch c. 1875:

This adorable Victorian cast composition figurine features a male and a female nestled on a branch with ferns and a foliage below them. It is set on an ebonized octagonal base. The group has a British registry mark on the reverse of the base that dates it to the 3rd quarter of the 19th c. It is in great condition with just the minor wear on would expect from a piec that is no amost 150 years old. It is 7 3/4\" tall x 6\" wide (at base) x 4.75\" deep (at the base).
