This beautiful VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE Vanity Dance Compact has both puffs (one for powder, one for rouge) and lipstick tube. It does not have a mirror. The outside is marked: Elgin Am. Mfg. Co. Gold Filled 14k.
The vintage compact case is 14k gold filled. The Art Deco design on the top includes a varied interval parallel line pattern with an engravable center cartouche.
The case is silver-toned on the outside and gold-toned on the inside. It is marked inside: \"Elgin Am. Mfg. Co 14k Gold Filled\" and with the number 2573084. This marking appears inside the lid and inside the powder compartment.
The case measures approx. 2 3/4\" x 1 3/4\" rectangular with cut corners. The edges are decorated with filigree designs. The piece is a genuinely collectible treasure at a reasonable price.The latch closes tightly and the hinges are properly aligned. The wrist chain is complete and securely attached. Chain measures approx 11\".
