Edward Everett [1794 1865] was anAmerican statesman, politician, educator, and diplomat from Massachusetts who served as the 15th Governor of Massachusetts, and as the 20th Secretary of State of the United StatesforPresident Millard Fillmore. Listed for sale is the autograph of Edward Everett signed on a postal panel. The panel is addressed in Everett\'s hand and is signed \'\'Free E. Everett M.C.\'\' in blackfountain pen. The panel is postmarked Boston, Jul, 23, measures 5.00 x 3.00 inches, has toning otherwise it is in very good condition. The autograph will be accompanied with [2] two original vintage carte de visite\'s of the Secretary of State. The cards measures 4.00 x 2.50 inches, one has toning, and both are in very good condition. The autograph is authentic and is a nice example of this prominent statesman and is ideal for display with the carte de visite.
