This is an Echizen sword-machete hunting knife that can be considered a masterpiece by the late Masami Asai, the fifth generation of a prestigious blacksmith in Echizen Takefu, who was a traditional craftsman and also famous as a custom knife maker.
This is a dead stock item from a knife shop, and is in like-new condition. It is probably difficult to find an item of this quality.
