Early Vintage Mercury Glass Silvered AND Striped Shiny Brite Made In US of A:

Early silvered (single wall) Shiny Brite with painted yellow and white stripes. This is the early smooth cap faintly marked Made in US of A. These details time it to between 1938-1941. It appears as solid but is actually translucent. I added a couple photos at the end to show that you can see the stripes through the other side and can see the cap from the bottom in the right light. There is some mottling to the silver but the painted stripes are in really nice condition. This is a larger ornament…almost 4” including cap and wire. Used for 3 generations so it is not mint. But, well cared for.
