Original paint! Approximately 4 inches tall, see photos for condition, I show close-ups under bright sunlight, which actually accentuate every flaw but indoors on the shelf they look much better. I wanted you to clearly be able to inspect and see that the paint is original, even though worn. Original bank with obvious age wear as shown!!these are well over 120 years old! Last photo shows the group I am listing tonight you are offerding on one bank titled. Happy to combine shipping if you like the others as well.
These are from my own personal collection I’m listing some better condition ones as I sell my collection. These are pretty good for their age. Probably made by George Brown or A Bergman circa 1870-1890 Very rare to find in any condition I have better condition and also worse condition banks to list. Keep checking back for more. At one time I had over 200 of these awesome antique toy banks. Please enlarge them any photographs and use them as best description of condition and item. Has LOTS of paint wear but stenciling is still visible, original surface is showing through as a lot of paint as oxidized over the last 130+ years. Selling as you see it. Hate to see this go, these used to be quite valuable,now I see they’re really undervalued so I i’ve priced my banks very reasonably find a new home. From my own extensive 40+ year antique toy collection! I will be listing four or five wonderful early tin banks tonight in order to offset a purchase of a vintage guitar. These toys have been in my collection for decades and never offered for sale but my interests have changed and so here is a chance for you to get some real bargains on some authentic antique toys!
