Early 1960s MCM Josef Original RARE Mary w/ Jesus for Nativity Made in Japan:

This is the Virgin Mary with Child that are part of the 7 piece nativity set. These were orginally made in Japan and then later moved and made in Korea. These were made for only a few years in Japan, from 1959-1962. The sets that were made in Japan had to be approved by the owner and are so very well done with vibrant colors on the hand painted pieces. It is in mint condition: free of any chips, cracks, crazing, paint or gold loss, or repairs. These stand about 5 inches tall. Each has the Josef maker\'s mark, the sticker that says, Japan, and the sticker on each piece on the side that says Josef Original. You will receive both Mary with child and also Joseph, see last few photos, his staff was broken, repaired and then the bottom was lost, for this reason, I am sending him along for free. If you will look at the last photo, you can see these in the entire set of 7; they are being sold in other sales. You will be receiving only the two pieces,Mary with child and Joseph in this sale. .
