Early 1900s Tobacco Pipe In Case, dark cherry bakelite, gold trim:

I don\'t see a name it is just marked BAKELITE.

It looks black until it\'s against the light then it\'s a reddish semi-transparent BAKELITE.

The case has a few defects but the hinges seem good.

I think the case is wood wrapped in leather with felt inside.

It is not dated so I used the time period from other information online.
