EXPO 86, which was held in Vancouver, BC, Canada
May 2 - October 13, 1986
4-Commemorative Medallion Set in collector\'s folder
Subjects covered:
- The Expo Centre - Expo Ernie, official robot mascot
- The Expo 86 Grounds - The B.C. Pavilion
The designs of these coins / medals were also used on the .999 silver rounds, but these particular versions were made of brass or something similar. Toning exists and there\'s some scuffs (mostly seen on the back), but they remain in good overall condition. Each one measures roughly 1.5\" in diameter.
Please see the pics above to get acquainted with this fun set, although these were kind of hard to capture in photos. In my opinion, they look even better in-person! Comes from a climate-controlled, pet, and smoke-free home.
