A 19th c. English Tunbridge Wooden Tray
With a glass-topped floral banded marquetry design!

Here’s an elegant addition to your service orcabinet! This gorgeous mahogany glass-topped tray features tantalizingmarquetry and Tunbridge Ware banding from late 19th Century England!

This high-walled, 20” tray features an all-originalwooden design with a snug and dense glass top and green felt bottom. Screwshold the rim in place; these date the piece to the late 19th orearly 20th century. The banding is uniquely Tunbridge. The gloriousfloral motif is made with all inlaid wood!

Condition:

This piece is in EXCELLENT condition! The wood is lovely and bright and is exceptionally presentable with some light surface wear! The glass shows very few, if any, signs of use or wear. There are a few visible scratches, but these are likely on the wood underneath and not due to wear. These scratches are barely visible. The felt bottom has some light to moderate patchy wear.
