Epidote - Location: Green Monster Mountain Prince of Wales Island Alaska. Thumbnail. Here we have a nice epidote specimen from one of the most noted locations for epidote the Green Monster mine in Alaska. The crystal is well-formed and sharp with a dark green color along with an almost glassy luster.

Photography

Specimen Dimensions

Actual measured specimen dimensions are included on the photographs. There is a basic specimen dimension standard listed in our descriptions and titles:
Thumbnail - thumbnail specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 1 inch cube. Look for -THN in our titles.
Miniature - miniature specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 2 inch cube. Look for -MIN in our titles.
Small Cabinet - small cabinet specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 3 inch cube. Look for -SCB in our titles.
Cabinet - cabinet specimens are those larger than 3 inches. (too large to fit inside a 3 inch cube) Look for -CAB in our titles.
