An antique Kennaway’s ‘ADORE’ Scotland’s Best Whisky bottle – ‘Special Reserve’.
Embossed on the base E.B & Co Ld - E. Breffit & Co.
The bottle measures approximately 29.5cm high; weighs 635g.
Condition:The bottle is in great shape – no chips or cracks; slight bruise to base edge;
some small air bubbles: the old dried cork was pushed inside and is still there.

I found the following on the interent:-
E. Breffit & Co. were a glass bottle manufacturing company in Castleford, Yorkshire.
The business was established in 1844 when Edgar Breffit purchased the Ryebread Glass Works
and renamed it Breffit’s Glass Works.
By 1868 the company owned the Aire and Calder Glass Bottle Works and
the firm operated an additional glassworks at Ferrybridge until 1880.
