Click images to enlarge Description This BEAUTIFUL cotton 1870\'s nine patch quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with burgundy print background and indigo blue border.
It measures 70\" X 78\" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional age speckle on the back, some color discoloration in the cheddar block, and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.
The quilting is superb, with straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at an even 8 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is indigo blue, and the batting is thin.
