British Parliament 1925 Vintage LithographEDINBURGH, Calton Hill, Dugald Stewart & Walter Scott Monuments, Scotland - 1932 Historical Print
The Dugald Stewart Monument is a memorial to the Scottish philosopher Dugald Stewart. It is situated on Calton Hill overlooking the city of Edinburgh and was designed by Scottish architect William Henry Playfair.
The Scott Monument, designed by the architect George Meikle Kemp (1795-1844), was erected on Edinburgh\'s Princes Street in honor of the great Scottish author Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832). His works, especially his thirty-two Waverley Novels, were immensely popular across Europe. A lot of his early writings were based on events in Scottish history; to a certain extent Scotland\'s national identity was shaped by his romantic stories.

I will send a combined invoice reflecting your savings. The Nature of Prints & Engravings: It was not until the 20th century that prints were commonly produced for the print itself. Prior to this, virtually all prints (and engravings) were produced as illustrations to be included in a manuscript, book, newspaper, or pamphlet. Therefore, a vast majority of original prints have been over the years removed from these original sources. Prints are produced using many different techniques: relief printing (woodcut & wood engraving), intaglio printing (steel & copper plate engraving, drypoint, aquatint, etc), and planographic printing (lithography, serigraphy, inkjet, laser, etc.). While the commercial value of a print depends on such factors as age, rarity, and condition, the real value of a print is its tie to its history and/or its esthetic beauty.
