This is an early Mason\'s Patent 1858 quart fruit jar that we dug in an 1865-1875 outhouse privy pit....it has smaller than normal letters but nice and bold....MASON\'S PATENT NOV 30TH 1858 in small but bold letters on front.....Plain circle post mold bottom....hand blown in mold...ground threaded collar....aqua..quart...7 3/8\"tall...Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A dug jar with normal light haze. Crude whittled glass...........
