This is a fascinating vintage Santo Domingo necklace featuring a large square pendant with an inlay thunderbird of jet and coral! This unique necklace has 12 graduated pendants with inlay turquoise and jet, silver cones and a handmade silver hook and eye clasp! Absolutely Mesmerizing! The thunderbird pendant measures about 1-7/8" x 1-1/8".Cir Early 1900's!The Santo Domingo Pueblo is located on the east bank of the Rio Grande between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico and is well known for their expert craftsmanship using inlay turquoise, jet and coral in beautiful mosaics.
