Rare, EARLY Antique 1853 Engraved Print, Naval Admiral Stephen Decatur

Great engraved paintingofhim in full dress NAVY uniform, on board ship, holdingsword and telescope, with cannonballs and cannon in the background. Nice attention to detail.

Very nice print, and subject measures about 5 1/2\" x 7 1/2, increased to 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 by the border. NICE FACSIMILE SIGNATURE AND DATE INFO AT THE BOTTOM.

A gorgeous piece, quite suitable for framing, and a great collectable decoration for a variety of Civil War collections. An early one, DONE IN 1853 !!! OVER 180 YEARS OLD!!!
