Whata beauty, measures 3.25\" tall, 8.5\" top rim diameter. Theruby stain is uniform and strong, only some tiny little clear slivershere and there, see close-ups, but not noticeable in casual use, doesnot detract. The hand engraved grapes, leaves and vines designrepeats 3 times around the bowl sides, see pics.

Thisbowl was made for general food service, or, it was made as the largebowl of a \"berry set\" which consists of one large bowl andseveral matching smaller bowls. Berry sets were very popular fromabout 1870s to circa 1900. (Got the matching smaller bowls? If so let me know if you don\'t want to buy this bowl.)The King\'s crown pattern was made in manydifferent items in either plain, engraved, ruby-stained or gilded.Please ask any questions. (NOTE- Never washvintage/antique/collectible glassware in a dishwasher, always wash byhand. Dishwashers are very harsh on glass by using very hot waterwith harsh soap causing glassware to be etched/fog up with whitishmineral stain. Also, I learned awhile ago to always handlevaluable/rare glass items more slowly and morecarefully than I think is necessary.)
