About the item:

Measuring approximately 7 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches and drawn on standard copy paper, this preliminary sketch features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. The cartoon ultimately published in the November, 1992 issue (p. 164). One of the very few of Sneyd\'s cartoons published in black and white (he did perhaps three total that were B&W). Also included in with the listing is a copy of the page the cartoon appears on. In excellent condition, the original sketch and the copy of the final cartoon will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- the magazine is not included. Only the original artwork and a copy of the page that featured the finished cartoon.

About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
