Measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 11 inches on tracing paper, this original pencil preliminary features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. The finished version of this sketch was published in the January, 1992 issue. In fair condition and also has portions taped to its surface (part of the artists creative process). Please note- this is an actual, hand-drawn piece of art by Sneyd. It is not a copy, print, or pre printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original. Also included with the listing (in the third scan), is a Xerox copy of the cartoon as it ultimately appeared in the issue. The original art is shown in the second scan and the first scan shows both the original artwork and the final, finished product.

About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
