They are for me a brand of "dormant" pipes as they age their root much longer than some of the great Italian manufacturers and make each pipe with the highest quality and tradition. Our customers found the pipes to be of excellent quality and smoked, here is a comment from a dear customer of ours: "I had finished smoking, it was one of the best bowl breaks that I normally break my pipe with Carter Hall, but I was out and I decided to go straight to glory with the 1999 Christmas Cheer and it was fantastic. The pipe had a distinctive nutty flavor from the start, a sign of well aged briar. Relights? No! My bowl smoked all the way through with no re-ignition. and without drills. These tubes are well drilled and fully open, so they performed really beautifully ... "These shapes have a classic freehand Danish style at the heart, but show some Italian character with a touch of freestyle and offer extra thick walls with a good tapered chamber. On the back a pronounced transition to a sturdy stem that widens slightly in the face and holds the patterned acrylic fishtail stem, no worries about oxidation here. The finish is with carrauba wax and the blast tells us this briar showed an impressive straight grain before as the ring grain is phenomenal, craggy and even that wraps 360 degrees!
