The Doctor Zhivago Musical Jewelry Box distributed by The Heirloom Tradition (Long Beach, CA). 1965 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, INC. This is a pre-owned early antique / late vintage 1965 musical jewelry box based on the Doctor Zhivago Russian movie from 1965. It is a limited edition jewelry box with working music that plays when it’s opened up. The number of the item appears to be 2,249 out of only 5,000 of these specific pieces ever made.

The front top porton (lid) of the jewelry box features an image of the woman from the movie. The interior of the box is in excellent condition. The exterior has some aging and signs of minor imperfections such as scrapes, abrasions, etc. the bottom has a small piece of wood thats peeling/fraying.

The music box works perfectly. The box is nice and clean and despite the exterior imperfections, it looks great. I have included a lot of pictures for you to judge for yourself.
