Sleeping BeautyBriar Rose Animation Drawing Sequence of 5 (Walt Disney, 1959)."But if I know you, I know what you'll do."Briar Rose sings, twirling her way into Prince Phillip's arms in this dramatic sequence of 16 field 3-peghole animation drawings. The group of drawings can be found at about 30:50 during "Once Upon a Dream", the main theme of the film, and feature large images that are all beautifully rendered in graphite. They range from 9.5'' x 8.25'' up to 11.5'' x 8''. Wow! Four have timing charts in the bottom right corner along with the numbers 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12. Two of these numbers are circled, indicating they are keyframes and were likely drawn by Aurora's supervising animator and Disney Legend Marc Davis (1913 - 2000). The animation paper exhibits light age-related toning with minor edge and handling wear. Superficial wrinkles, small tears, and light debris. Good to Very Good condition overall.
Originally purchased through Heritage sale House, extremely reputable who Guarentes authenticity...This is Truly a chance to own a piece of Disney that cannot be recreated or reproduced! It is not "one off" or "artists rendering" this is the actual drawing used for the classic film
