@ 17\" wide by 24\" long special \"EXTRA\" single- page front page of the December 9, 1941 World War II Era \"The Indianapolis News\" newspaper from Indianapolis, Indiana issued two days day after the attack at Pearl Harbor. The newspaper has the headlines: \"2 Air Raid Alarms in N.Y. 200,000 Flee All-Out Jap Attacks on Philippines. Japanese Planes over Frisco and Panama\" on front with TONS of wartime info / stories, pictures and content on both sides. I would imagine that these were created as \"Covers\" for the regular paper printed just before distribution as special \"Extra\" editions-Has wear expected and consistent with the brittle nature and age / normal use of this item and has been folded, still a great display item!
