PAUL F. ANDERSON BIOGRAPHY:

Paul F. Anderson has spent well over half of his liferesearching, writing, and delving into the creative legacy of Walt Disney. Hebegan this interest in the mid-Seventies when his father gifted him with a copyof Christopher Finch’s Art of Walt Disney. Over the next several years, he researched, studied, and wrote about thelife and times of Walt Disney. This interest continued on through college andserved as a subject for his Master’s Degree. As a recognized expert on WaltDisney and his works, he was contacted by PBS in 1989 to work on a televisiondocumentary exploring the history of animation. Starting as the “Disney historian”on the project, he began to interview many of the old-timers that had workedwith Disney. In little time, he found himself serving as Associate Producer onthe show, titled Cartoon Mania!  Thiswork for PBS provided him with the opportunity and inspiration to preserveDisney history, which he does by interviewing many of the creative individualsthat worked with Walt Disney.  Feeling aneed, and a responsibility, for his work to be shared with others, Paul starteda historical journal devoted to the creative legacy of Walt Disney titledPersistence of Vision, for which he served as editor and publisher. Paul hasalso traveled across the United States giving lectures and talks on WaltDisney, as well as to teach an occasional college class on Walt Disney inAmerican Culture.

Born in Sheridan Wyoming in 1962, Paul currently lives nearSalt Lake City, Utah.
