The Classic Comic Character line of statue from Dark Horse Comics has roots in the past. In 1944 Pillsbury offered a premium series of twelve wood-resin statues based on popular King features Syndicate comic-strip characters (there are 24 original King Features statues in all). For 25 cents and an enriched Farina cereal box top you would receive the latest character. These statues are commonly referred to as \"Syrocos\" after the company that invented the unique material and style. The King Features/Pillsbury series had a host of other products known as \"Syroco\" statues are now of great interest to collector\'s, as production of these figurines ended by 1950. Dark Horse picks up where they left off, continuing the series and remaining faithful to the charming look and feel of the originals.We like to ship USPS Priority Mail. We can only ship USPS Express Mail International. We recognize this is expensive however it is the most efficient and safest way for us to get the item to you. Very rarely are there customs delays with this shipping method. In some rare cases delivery may get delayed and it will likely take longer to receive your item. If your local Customs does decide to hold a package you can expect delivery to take 3-4 weeks. If you have not received a package within 30 days of our shipment, please notify us and we\'ll issue an inquiry and get you taken care of. In most if not all cases Express Mail takes between 5-10 days from the time we ship your item.
