This listing is for a Vintage 1960s Mid Century Danish Modern Dansk Jens Quistgaard \"Rare Woods\" # 898 \"Totem\" Shaped Peppermill / Salt Shaker Combo. It is made of Brazilian Rosewood / Palisander. It has the all-metal \"Peugeot Freres Lion France\" grinder and \"DENMARK JHQ\" stamped in the wood (photos 7-9). Round cylindrical top and square base. The \"Ears\" at the top are NOT removable. This mill was made with the frustrating \"tooth-fill\" mechanism and I didn\'t attempt to open it. There is still some salt and pepper inside. It works and grinds perfectly.

It is in great condition overall with no breaks, splits, or repairs. A couple small dents and minor signs of use, not bad (photos 22-24), are the worst. No other issues. It works smoothly and grinds well. Nice patina to wood. Looks very clean. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item).
