The DalmatianThis image comes from a wonderful 1954 book of sketches and thoughts illustrated by the noted dog artist Marguerite Kirmse.

Born in Bournemouth, England in 1885, Kirmse emigrated to America in the early 1900\'s. Once in America, she developed her talent for the visual arts, creating drawings, pastels and oil paintings. Her love of dogs and her artistic talent allowed her to establish herself as a canine artist of note.This illustration measures approximately 3\" x 3\", and has been Custom Matted in a black \"acid free\" mat, ready for your 5\" x 7\" frame.Your artwork is shipped flat between sturdy cardboard and comes protected against moisture with a plastic sleeve.
