A remarkable find from a highly collected Danish maker! This ultrarare jewelry tree was manufactured by Digsmed Denmark. Digsmed was aDanish design company, based in Roskilde, Denmark, producing high qualityhousehold goods primarily in teak, glass and iron during the 1960's and1970's.The Digsmed factory closed in 1975. The high quality of the designs andmaterials, combined with their short production period (approx. 10 years), makeDigsmed home goods highly sought after today by Mid Century Modern enthusiasts.

You will not find this tree anywhere else on the Internet!

Tree is 15” high and 9 1/2” diameter with six jewelry holdingprongs. The vertical tree screws into the base. I believe the wood to be teak. Treebase is cracked, which I attribute to age, but the tree sits flat and does notwobble. There are tiny paint flecks throughout; why do people paint and notcover the furniture? There is price tag residue on the base and a tiny ding inthe top base. Even with these flaws this tree retains its classic beauty and MCMallure after 50+ years.
