On the block is an extremely rare, original 4'x6'ā24 square feetā Derek Jeter āXM Satellite Radioā promo poster for sale... This XM "Jeter" ad campaign ran in New York City MTA bus shelters Nov-Dec, 2004, to promote the new MLB satellite radio subscription service as a holiday gift.
This example was produced as "overage" by the ad agency and shipped to the media company (Viacom Outdoor) for a "what if" instance, and is in absolutely pristine condition as it was never used/posted. I obtained it from the Operations Manager. (If you know your way around an OOH company, then you know this is who controls the vinyl to be posted.)
No rips or tears present. Has never been posted inside an actual bus shelter or stuck on a wall. Has been tubed for 18 years.
Frame it and proudly display it in the man cave, office, or wherever. Or post it with easy direct-application to any wall or flat surface. Material is styrene, not paper, so it will never rip or tear if handled properly, and can be posted/reposted again and again.
Ultimately designed to display in a backlit source. The styrene poster material allows light to shine thru glass, a light box, or some other back-lit source. Gorgeous when illuminated. Even Jeter himself most likely doesnāt own one of these. Tell your Yankee bros to "hold your beer" after showing off this baby.Note that when the XM campaign ended, these posters were removed by the media company and recycled. This may be the campaign's sole survivor as I literally begged the Ops Mgr to save me one of the precious few overs that were shipped. All that makes this an incredible find for the ultimate Jeter fan. Item will ship USPS Priority Mail with insurance/tracking inside poster tube anywhere in US.
