Eachplate portrays an iconic French woman of fashion. Francois Ganeau's Series D'Arceau-Limoges LES FEMMES DU SIECLE "Womenof the Century" Original French set of beautifully hand-painted porcelainplates. These limited-edition plates were first issued in conjunction with, andwere the ONLY work of its kind officially recognized by, the World Federationof United Nations Associations on behalf of the Secretariat for InternationalWomen's Year of the United Nations. Each 8 1/2" plate is in Excellent,like new condition, having been placed in a lovely oak shadow-box frame withglass upon its receipt. The original plate issue price including S&H was$22.74. These plates were issued over the course of four years 1976-1979 issuedby the Bradford Exchange created by Henri D'Arceau L & Fils in genuinehard-fire D'Arceau-Limoges, the world's finest porcelain.
