Custom RBH Richard B. Henn Stag Grip Hunting Bowie Knife:

A superb custom bowie knife by Richard B. Henn of Block Island, Rhode Island. This is one that does not appear in his current catalog, and has been in storage for more than a decade. It is a massive bowie with a stag grip and brass guard. There is a layer of red banded with bras towards the ferrule. The blade is both long and wide, and has the modified saw back that is found on Scottish dirks along the back of the blade. The blade is marked with RBH in an oval, and a small mark on the ricasso, also in an oval. The sheath is cordovan leather, and clearly hand made by Mr. Henn, with rawhide lacing, and an RBH safety strap snap. It is exceptionally well-balanced and extremely sharp. Size: 17 inches long with a 10 inch blade.
