Vintage Congress Designer Series Double Deck Playing Cards, new old stock in a dark blue flocked box with a pull out tray. Each deck is unopened in the original cellophane. Made by the US Playing Card Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Congress brand was the most expensive of the first four brands introduced by the company in 1881, when it was still known as Russell, Morgan, and Co. Congress was printed under two stocks: their standard No. 404 and the deluxe No. 606, which had gold edges. This set features one deck with gold trim on a scallop shell design and another deck with silver edges on a nautilus shell design. Zoom in on photos for better detail and measurements.
