About Robert ShieldsRobert was born in California and lived for years in Sedona, Arizona.He ran away from home as a young boy and joined the circus.Hestudied to be a Mime in Paris and eventuallyand eventually became a street mime performer in San Francisco.He traveled the world with his wife and partner Lorene Yarnell as mimes andeventually appeared on TV and film productions.
Robert became a jewelry designer in Sedona, Arizona, forming a company Robert Shields Creations. He is famous for his painted cats, ponies, andtrickster coyotes. His shop is now closed and his pieces are collectors items.
