This adorable telephone is a wonderful conversation piece and it has been tested and it works! It is in beautiful condition with no chipping, discloration, or damage to the outer phone ond the inner inner workings are in good order. It has a dial tone (it lights up when the receiver is picked up)...and for incoming calls it rings and lights up; for outgoing calls the receiver of the call hears clearly the caller. It already has batteries in place and all you need to do is add the telephone wire. I verified it works though my provider which is Spectrum. To make an outgoing call the area code needs to be dialed (do not dial \"1\" before area code).
