This is an authenticsculpture from the late Tewa artist andsculpture Cloud Eagle (Ernest Eugene “Bo” Mirabal - 1960-2011) from the Nambe Pueblo tribe. Done in alabaster marble with a wood base. Signed on the back bottom ofsculpture, Cloud Eagle 88. Seephotos. It's astrikingpresence and a fineaddition to many Pueblo, Native American or warrior art collections. A fine example of the mastery inCloud Eagle's art. Quiteheavy - hand carved alabastermarble. I purchased this from an estate, a small printed plastic display card isincluded.
Condition is lovely, fresh from a lovely eestate. At inception, Cloud Eagle placed afeather plum at the top of thesculpture's head. This hasbroken off from age, however, theoriginal feather is included. Itmeasures at three inches high. Please see the photos. I've enjoyed thesculpturemoresw withoutthesaddition, however,youcouldattach if you wanted to bring back to the Cloud Eagle'soriginal true design.
