This is the first time we ever offered these vintage Civil War albumen photographs. This one came from the collection of Newspaper Artist Alfred Waud...Its a great Civil War River scene

We have more on of towns that were heavily damaged from the war.. We believe these were from Virginia and Maryland, showing the damage done during the intense fighting in the civil war. There is no photographer name on the reverse sides but as far as we know, they might have been photographs from Matthew Brady or Alexander Gardner. There are a few blacks in the distance too. They are each on their original mounts, that make them each 7"x10" They are really very Rare photographs showing the destruction done from the Civil War.
