This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment. Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.

This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s - up to the early 1870s) Civilian Man\'s Double-Breasted Waistcoat VEST with three working exterior pockets - matching, small same fabric-covered Buttons down the front (see photos) and correctly patterned true fall collar (more accurate reproduction than most you will find). This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century. A common double-breasted Vest for men of multiple stations of life. Very, very nice all around. Back is lined by brown polished cotton and interior is lined in off-white, natural-colored cotton - much like originals. Includes back adjustment belt with black metal buckle.

Can\'t be beat for the price. Never worn and new.

SIZE is tagged as a 40\" chest and it fits well and tight as a 40\" chest - not much extra room. True to size. Made of a beautiful wool in a rich Dark Green ScottishTweed.
