Circa 1920\'s THORENS Swiss-Made semi-automatic lighter - British patent 137508condition -see the photos for best description of condition - Circa 1920s Thorens semi-automatic lighter, stamped \"Thorens\" Swiss Made British Patent No 137508 on bottom of case. single claw This is an early version of the Thorens lighter made under that Patent Number - later models of this lighter moved the filler screw to the base of the lighter. The filler screw incorporates both a ring for attaching the lighter to a lanyard or chain for safe-keeping and holds a replacement flint in a small removable cap.There is a small dent on the side and and there are surface scratches typical of an item of this age.Push button locks and twists to open strong and closes tightly. Has no flint, no fuel, no spark.
