Circa 1876 –This was a parade flag, detached from its stick. Please see last photo for description. These 13 starCentennialMedallion Configurationparade flags were produced from 1861 to 1876.ParadeFlags like this were a piece of industrial history as they were produced on aroll, printed on one side, glued to a wood stick and then shipped to Hardware and General Storeswhich would sell to the general public for ceremonies. Mounted in an early gray painted frame.
