Actor, singer

Félix Marten born Félix Paul Gabriel Marten is a French actor, director and singer,

born October 29, 1919 in Remagen (Germany) and died November 20, 1992 in Saint-Cloud (France)

of a pulmonary embolism.

Biography

His father, of Finnish origin, is a horticulturist in Germany. Her mother is a gypsy. To escape Nazism,

he comes to France with his parents and takes refuge in Cachan.

Forced to work JEUNE , he had several jobs: first hired as a salesman at the age of 15 by

Galeries Lafayette, he will also be employed in a real estate agency,

sailor-firefighter, docker, boxer, carpet merchant.

She advises him on his future career, gets him hired at Bobino and the Olympia and predicts a great film career for him. He bears several artist names: Pierre Alma, then Jean de Vix, then Fredo, before resuming his real name in 1958.

He reappeared on stage for the last time in 1989 at the Casino de Paris for a final singing tour.

He will reappear one last time at the cinema in a Scopitone by Claude Lelouch integrated into the film There are days and Moons, for the song La Rigolade which had been filmed in 1961.
