Pair of antique silverplated egg cups by Christofle. Made in France. Each one is stamped \"Christofle\" and another very small hallmark with scale, 2 stars, flower and bee, or fly in diamond. I am having a bit of a hard time finding the exact age from this rare mark. I did find one that said it was from the late 1800s to early 1900s. That looks correct, in my opinion. There is also a \"Richarz\" stamp on each right beneath the rim. I think this may have been customized to include the previous owner\'s last name? They are 2½\" tall by 1¾\" diameter. They are very elegant. They could also be used as cordial glasses. If you tap them, they ring like a bell. Condition is excellent. Please see the photos and item details for more specifics.
