Chinese Double Gourd Vase In Satsuma Style W Gold Hand Painted Accents.

I believe this to be made in Teochew, a city in the eastern Guangdong province in China somewhere between 1960- 1980. It is a transfer print with Japanese Satsuma styling. It has been hand painted with gold satsuma detailing over the transfer for accents.

This was probably originally done as a tourist piece. I purchased this as I loved the shape and all the detail. There is some unity in it\'s busyness! It definitely makes a cool statement.

Returns:

All returns must be postmarked no later than seven days after receiving the item. I do not pay return shipping for overseas shipping. I will take the item as a return but, buyer must pay shipping. It must also be returned in the same condition it was received in.

I graduated with a Bachelor\'s in Interior Design in \'97. I worked in the field for 20 years successfully until having twins with medical issues. This necessitated my transition to a different kind of work and staying home with them. Recently, I have reignited my passion for design with my (mostly) vintage and antiques business.
