This antique, carved soapstone toothpick holder was part of my parents antique collection. I am unable to give you much history. My parents were Oriental Antique dealers & this was purchased by them sometime in the 60\'s.It is a Chinese piece. Scratched on the bottom is China. There are 4 carved monkeys on the doubled toothpick holder. The tops are chipped. As soapstone is so soft, there are scratches as well.Still, all in all, a very collectible piece of soapstone.It measures approx. 2-1/2\" tall x 3-3/4\" long.Please ask any questions before purchasing. I am selling this in as is condition with no returns.
